Luxurious amenities and exclusive facilities were available at this hotel. the swimming pool was pristine, complete with sun loungers and a poolside snack bar. the spa lounge offered full body massages and a sauna, while the restaurant served buffet breakfast and special diet menus. the hotel's location was ideal, providing beach access and a sun terrace with beach umbrellas.

the massage at the spa centre was not satisfactory.

We stayed at this resort for a leisure trip to explore the nearby attractions. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful grounds with monkeys and other animals roaming around the property. We enjoyed the clear ocean beach without seaweed, delicious food at the Mexican restaurant, and the proximity to the Xcaret park. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. The reusable cups for drinks were a nice eco-friendly touch. The resort was a great choice for a relaxing getaway close to nature.

Located steps away from a stunning beach area and nestled right next to an adjoining natural park, this resort offers a perfect location for nature enthusiasts. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Friendly staff ensures that guests are taken care of and the breakfast is decent, featuring Mexican food options. Facilities like a spa, pools, cabanas and private restaurant add to the luxury and relaxation factor.

The lush grounds at the hotel were breathtaking and really helped me unwind. The natural pool overlooking the ocean was like a slice of heaven. The Mexican restaurant and the oceanfront dining were both delicious. I'd recommend this hotel.

The beachfront location was stunning, and the surrounding landscape added to the beauty of the area. Being able to relax and spend time by the beach was definitely the highlight of my stay. Additionally, the hotel offered a great selection of activities for guests, allowing me to make the most of my time there.

There were a few shortcomings during my stay. the staff at the reception were not very welcoming, and this lack of hospitality was disappointing.

The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast options are delicious. Additionally, the resort offers a range of facilities and room advantages, such as a stunning beach area and entertaining activities for guests to enjoy.

There was one negative aspect regarding the staff support and attention to detail when it came to special requests. One guest mentioned their disappointment with the staff's mishandling of a birthday surprise, including a locked room and confusion over a reservation in the Oriental restaurant.

I recently stayed at Occidental in Playa del Carmen for a week-long holiday. The hotel's location was excellent, as it was close to popular attractions like Xcaret park, Tulum, and Xelha. The tropical style of the hotel was unique, and we even had a monkey visit us in the hallway! The staff was caring, professional, and made our stay memorable. The onsite ticket center and the option to use their shower facility after check-out were convenient additions for families with kids. it was a great experience with clean and comfortable rooms, plenty of restaurants, good nightlife, and amazing beach and pool areas. The variety of food was also impressive.

Private pool, restaurant, and cabanas. Top shelf alcohol and amazing waiter service. Perfect location with a beautiful beach.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The resort is family-oriented with enjoyable wildlife, beach, and ocean swimming. Staff is friendly and helpful, organizing fun games for adults and children. Facilities are good, and the manager, Jose D., provides excellent assistance.
